EK cruise

First EK cruise of the year turned out to be a good one, back to the old car park this time, weather stayed dry and the place was buzzin all night. Check out gallery for all photos from this event and more.

Total Vauxhall at Crail

Love it or Hate it, total Vauxhall shootout at Crail attracted tones of retro to classic Vauxhalls, from Mk1 astras to VXR8’s. As a strong hater to Astra VXR’s today did not help one bit, they seem to be more common nowadays than your mums Renault Megane. Throw the hate aside,  it was a day not to be missed.  All the photos from the event can be seen in the gallery section.

Scottish Modified Car Show 2009

The Scottish Modified Cars Show provided the first big outing for the Ayrshire Modified team & by god it was a good one. Arriving bright ‘n’ early at 7.30 we got set in about the cars with the car care products & got them set out nicely with the black n white trio at the front of the stand. The show opened to the public at 10am & the place was buzzing allday long. From bmx madness & fit models, to booming sound systems & go karting, there was lots to keep everyone entertained. With a huge range of differently styled cars on show there was lots of prowling round to be done. Our own stand was certainly in one of the best spots of the day as people were constantly coming by it to get to the stunt shows. By 5oclock shutting time we were all shattered but still had enough energy to head onto Livi cruise for the remainder of the night. Deck chairs are certainly needed for next time though & hopefully we will get a few more of our clubs cars on the stand.

First Members Meet

Tonights meet was certainly quite a busy get together for a first club shindig. Thankfully the rain held off & we were given the opportunity to meet one another & have a snoop around all the cars. Firstly, we would like to say thanks to you all for coming along. Secondly, we would just like to say that some of the cars on show were awesome & its obvious that alot of time & effort has gone into them. We hope to hold some of these little meet ups regularly & hopefully more & more people will start to come along. We are very much looking forward to seing how some of the cars within the club progress overtime. All photos from the meet can be found in the gallery.

Loudon, Cars ‘n Rides

A great day out for the whole family! Weather stayed mostly dry, from your old school, to new school. This one was not one to miss! All credits go to Jon Wilson for photography, photographs can be seen in the gallery, or on the forum!

EK Cruise

Best cruise of the year so far! Place was packed, tones of tidy cars. Stayed dry all night, my first time at an EK cruise, didnt realise there even was even an upstairs and that was packed aswel! Big thanks to the team at EK Cruise for putting on a great show, see you all again next time! Photos are up in the gallery so check them out.

Max Power Day at Crail

Sunday 3rd of May a group of us set up to Crail again for the anual Max Power event. Tones of show cars there, including a MK3 golf with a crazy install, along with a heavily modified 206 and loads more, highlight of the day was Jon holding off a Corsa VXR Artic Edition in his 1.9 TDI Astra. Cumnock Cruise

April 4th at Caponacre Industrial Estate, the 2nd cruise in over 5 years at Caponacre, much better turn out than the previous one, rain stayed off, and not too many cops around this time. Check out the photos from this event in our gallery.

Crail Track Day

In February a few of us went to Crail for the Track day. Was a great day out. Highlight of the day was Figgys Swift Sport giving a Escort Cossy turbo a run for its money. Only downer was Dickies Corsa B breaking down on the track, needing a new drive-shaft, so was towed all the way back to Cumnock by Brian. Check out the gallery for all the photos.
